Her first library position was for the city library in Ponca City OK. In Oklahoma City she was employed by the Metropolitan Library System working at Southern Oaks Branch Library, and at the Oklahoma City University Library.

Sandi Smith will speak on the early immigrants who came to America telling from where many of them came and at what port they disembarked and what port in America they arrived. She will also inform the audience about the books available on early immigration many of which are in the Oklahoma Historical Library.
