20-Acacia Fraternity Membership Applications
Digitized membership applications from the University of Oklahoma chapter of Acacia Fraternity. There are nearly 300 applications, all from the 1920s. More than half include a photograph of the applicant and all contain biographical information, including birth date, initiation date, education, memberships in Masonic and other organizations, and a signature of the applicant. The CD contains a 600 megabyte PDF file with high-resolution scans of the original handwritten or typewritten applications. The PDF is not searchable, but the applications are organized alphabetically by last name.
